The University of California San Diego is a top engineering school in the UC system. Under their prestigious Jacobs School of Engineering, there is a Department of NanoEngineering that offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in NanoEngineering.
This undergraduate degree in NanoEngineering focuses on “nanoscale science, engineering, and technology that have the potential to make advances in different areas that include, to name a few, new materials, biology and medicine, energy conversion, sensors, and environmental remediation.” The NanoEngineering program at UCSD takes advantage of other sciences and engineering disciplines with the intention to have graduate nano engineers who are multidisciplinary and can work in a broad range of industries.
