One of my most outstanding dilemmas has been attempting to choose an area in STEM to explore in great detail. From computer science to aerospace engineering, there are so many possible options to choose from. I had always known of nanotechnology; though I never really knew what it involved. I assumed it had to do with microscopic robots that can shapeshift into any object when combined, like in Transformers Age of Extinction. But, I had no idea that nanotechnology had implications in many other fields of stem and wasn’t really like its portrayal in Hollywood.
So, when I started to explore Nanotechnology with hopes of finding my future career, I struggled to understand everything and find ways to get involved. After finding more and more information, and becoming enamored with this field of STEM, I decided to promote it further. I know many students struggle with a similar conundrum as me, so I wanted to create a website that contains clear and easy-to-comprehend information on Nanotechnology including “paths” to careers in this field.
